A Survey on Working Children

On July 7, KSC in cooperation with Ministry of Labour and Social Affairs of the Kurdistan Regional Government started a survey to determine the number and the specificities of working children in the three big cities of the Kurdistan Region of Iraq: Hawler, Sulamany, and Duhok.

An additional aim of the survey is to determine whether the KSC projects directed at reducing number of working children in the region were effective, by comparing the obtained results with the results of a similar survey conducted in 2007.

The survey in Hawler and Duhok started on July 7, and the survey in Sulaimany – on July 11, 2010.
